Business Development Manager

Exceptional opportunity for an individual with strong new business development skills and foundry industry knowledge/contacts.

My client is a $100M, global manufacturer that provides products and services to both industrial and oil & gas markets. This is an expansion of sales staff for the industrial group, with a focus on foundries and foundry distributors.

Government regulations are creating a market change that will increase the need for this company’s consumable products in 2018. Initially, the Business Development Manager will focus on developing and educating distributors so as to maximize penetration of U.S. foundries. The BDM will also develop relationships and/or build on existing relationships directly with foundries.

Successful Candidates Will Have the Following

  • 7+ years of experience selling specialty sands into the foundry industry (sand, zircon, chromite, etc.)
  • Experience managing distributors
  • BS Engineering or related
  • Comfortable working from home office
  • Able to travel as needed to meet with distributors and foundries
