Sales Engineer/Regional Sales Manager – Charlotte, NC

My client believes clean air is a cornerstone of sustainable production. This is an ideal role if you have sales experience in the industrial environmental and/or pollution control industry and enjoy technically supporting manufacturer’s representatives.

Primary responsibilities:

  • Manage sales and sales results of engineered industrial pollution control systems
  • Prepare and submit technical/commercial proposals to support manufacturer reps
  • Work closely with the team to ensure systems are properly applied, specified and installed
  • Provide sales forecasts and industry reports
  • Participate in annual budget planning
  • Travel and support sales activities within the assigned territory

Educational requirements:

  • Bachelor of Science in an engineering discipline, i.e. environmental, mechanical, chemical or industrial; OR other degree with direct, relevant experience

Experience and skills required:

  • 5+ years experience in a technical sales or sales management role, selling within the pollution control or similar industry
  • Experience selling capital equipment required
  • Able to travel overnight about 35% of the time
  • Must relocate to Charlotte, NC if not currently located there
